Suspended in Amber
This moment on the road

Through the haze
Distant possibilities
Seem promising

But the road veers away
Perhaps to destinations unknown

So I bathe in the amber
And in the moment’s reflection decide

Whether there
Or elsewhere
Reside possibilities unknown

The road takes me
Where it will
