Pic and a Word Challenge
On the 8th of March (8 de Marc), 2019, Spanish women demonstrated en masse, nation-wide, for women’s rights. Ample evidence of these demonstrations remained months later in posters and signs painted all over the city and here, at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The sign here is in catalan, the language of Catalonia. And the attribution to Angela Davis is not quite right, though it certainly sounds like something she might have said. I’ve attributed the english original to its rightful originator.

The word for last week’s challenge was Freed, along with this photograph a lone Edison bulb casting a delightfully subtle light in the dungeons of a former mental hospital, taken while filming The Magicians in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
