The best roads
The most interesting ones
Are the twisty-turny ones
With a steep incline
Or descent
The most interesting ones
Are the twisty-turny ones
With a steep incline
Or descent
The kind that always has
A vista to one side
And to the other
A reminder of where I’m going
Or where I’ve come from
The kind that every switchback
Begs of me a moment
To regain my breath
To stop and
Just appreciate the view
The straight and narrow
Is fine for getting where I’m going
But I prefer finding something interesting
In every corner of a journey
So lots of corners
Is fine by me
