Lingering

I lingered there
For humble light
And crescent moon uncloaked

The sun now bedded for the night
Its glory past
While beauty lingered still

Now a moment of repose
If only in my mind
The day it lingers too

Then home to bed
Soon lingering in dreams
With that I join the sun
