Few things are finer
Than a hearty feed
Of unchallenged delight
At some out of the way eatery
Perched on the edge
Of magnificence

Lingering
I lingered there
For humble light
And crescent moon uncloaked
The sun now bedded for the night
Its glory past
While beauty lingered still
Now a moment of repose
If only in my mind
The day it lingers too
Then home to bed
Soon lingering in dreams
With that I join the sun
The Path Through Darkness
Stillness in dark, dense forest
Light trickles through the canopy
Enough to cast shadows of utter black
In near blackness
Trees and roots form vague outlines
A maze of a path
Upon a maze for footfalls
I stumble my way
In a direction which seems
Forward
Progress slow
Or futile
I do not know
No matter
If futile
Step back
Seek another path
In this sense
All paths lead to the light
Failure is to remain complacent
In the darkness
Love ~ Pic and a Word Challenge #353
Share the infinite
At your side astride the void
Love fills the vastness
A Moment not in the Moment
I remind myself
A photograph is neither
A moment nor a place
Taking a photograph is neither
In the moment, nor the place
So I put down the camera
Take one breath
Then another
In the moment, and the place
Fearless
Fearless
She danced
As if everyone was watching
Everyone was
She danced
All the better for it
Though some grew anxious as
She danced
Fearless
Spin ~ Pic and a Word Challenge #350
Spinning uncontrolled
Dizzy and stumbling about
Giddy as a child

They call this “golden hour”
But every hour spent with you
Is golden
