      Thanks! It’s an HDR image — High Dynamic Range — created by combining multiple exposures shot at different light settings to get as much detail in both the highlights and shadows as possible.

      Original images shot at F22 (the small aperture gives the sunburst effect) with 9 exposures bracketed at 1/3 stop intervals by changing the shutter speed with each exposure. Then used Aurora 2019 — an HDR application — to merge the 9 images into one. Finished off with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

        I noticed you used the same effect on your other picture. I really love it. It’s like how I always imaged the sun should really look like ever since I was a kid.
