Light streaming through lattice and vines, Richmond, British Columbia, Canada

Butterfly

The light streamed into the room
Like butterfly wings
And I couldn’t tell
Which was the more sensuous caress

The warm, dappled sunshine on my cheek
The cool, fragrant breeze rippling my hair
Or the way her fingertips
Lightly traced the nouveau shadows
Playing across my abdomen

Of course
In the end
She won out
