Pathmaker

To be where I want to go
I seek a path
Which takes me there
There is always a way

Though I may have to fly
Rather than drive
I may have to walk
Rather than bicycle

Where there seems to be no path
It is a failing of perception
Of imagination and perseverence
For then, I must forge my own path

Taken during travels, 2016

I’d been looking at the top of this tower hill for a couple days while cycling the grasslands all around it. The access road was plain too steep for my level of conditioning.

So, instead, I hiked up the steep access road with a friend.

Worth the hike. Can’t say it would have been worth pushing a bicycle most of the way up. =)
