Some ascribe great powers to time:
To heal
To create
To destroy
To heal
To create
To destroy
But time itself wields no might
But for agents of change
Like the workings of nature and her creatures
Even the smallest ant
Or the merest trickle of water
Reveals the world deep beneath our feet
In a cone of sand piled grain-by-grain
Or a canyon of yellow
Carved through a plateau of rising stone
I ponder this
Standing on the grand canyon’s rim
How much time have I got?
