      Thank you. It’s a beautiful, fairly remote part of the country. Many exquisite scenic opportunities. I was fortunate to have such wonderful soft light. =)

    Beautiful image, I like the painterly quality, the trees in the foreground, going downhill, inviting to the mountains and sky with their contrasting colors in the distance. Pleasing composition.

      It was this little spot off the side of the road. Not really a lookout so much as a place the road construction crew looked like it had changed its mind about direction. But the view from there called to us as we drove by. Tremendous.

      A few shots I took on this one trip along the Mereenie Loop in similarly beautiful light came out with this painterly feel.

      Thank you, Tim. That drive from Kings Canyon to Alice Springs via the Mereenie Loop was a highlight of my 8 months in Australia. One of many very beautiful scenes. 🙂
