Serenity in Distress

Castle Towers Mountain, From Whistler Mountain, British Colubia, Canada
Ripsaw peaks
Sunder ice
This land distressed
And yet at peace
Beguiles spirit
Releases soul
Inner silence
Serenity

Castle Towers Mountain
From Whistler Mountain
British Columbia, Canada, 2017

      Thanks!

It was a crazy kind of light that afternoon, with a fine haze, a low sun and some high cirrus cloud. It was a fun set of tonalities to play with in editing.

This is definitely one of my favourites of the several I’ve posted from that day.

<smile> I count myself very fortunate in that I was able to choose British Columbia as home. The Coastal Range is a spectacularly beautiful place to be. =)
