At the event horizon
As the world I am in
Is stretched and squeezed
Pulled into another universe
Through the bottomless pit
Of a black hole
As the world I am in
Is stretched and squeezed
Pulled into another universe
Through the bottomless pit
Of a black hole
In the final moments
Of my existence
Here in this dimension
As reality folds in
Upon itself
I manage to get in
One last
Selfie

This image was photoshopped for contrast and colour correction, only. The panorama app — which I used to make this vertical panorama — blended the top edge of this unusual chrome fountain into the sky it was reflecting. As a result, there appears to be no edge. Kinda cool.
I’m submitting this — a bit late — to last week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge, which was Ooops! Not so much for the welcome and artistic mistake of my Samsung’s panorama app, but more for the notion of using the final moment of existence as you’re being sucked into a black hole for the narcissistic purpose of snapping one last selfie.
