Is my way of stilling thoughts

A whitewater cascade
Fell hard
Into the basin
Of a lover
Whose stillness
Quelled
The torrent
In the confluence
They eddied
Mingled
Became one
An eternal embrace
A place of rest
Now at rest
Making intimate new friends
To find such peace
In the stillness of presence
Connected to all things
I breathe
Clear my mind
