Day 24 … six more days. ❤

I woke before the sun, enjoyed the calm of the beach before the crowds of tourists and peddlers. Snapped some photographs of early risers of both human and celestial variety.

I find peace in a sunrise like no other time of the day. The innocence of a newborn, the possibility of a new start, a chance to illuminate the darkness and so move into the light.

What is NaPoWriMo?

National Poetry Writing Month. AKA GloPoWriMo for Global Poetry Writing Month because, you know, it’s a worldwide event. During the month of April, poets challenge themselves to write at least one poem a day, every day, for the entire month. So, 30 poems in 30 days.
