Reflections form a perfect circle
Bringing the past into the present
And the present into the past
I create a history I prefer
Reforming memories I prefer
To remember
Bringing the past into the present
And the present into the past
I create a history I prefer
Reforming memories I prefer
To remember
It all seems so true
Such a perfect circle

A bit of a metaphorical stretch, but the poem works for “attic“, this week’s One Word Photo Challenge. On a couple levels, actually:
- Attic ~ head, what’s going on in my brain; shooing out the bats in the belfry, so to speak.
- Attic ~ past and memories… I don’t know about you but any trip into my attic (Well, the back of my closet, but same thing as I don’t have an attic) results in a lot of reflection.
