From time to time
Brow drawn down
Eyes narrow
Squinting

Interlocked
A ward
A shield
A wall
A fortress

I love finding
Patterns in the chaos
When order emerges
From disorder

I try not to mind
Immersion into chaos
When the irregular
Overcomes the regular

These are all
Fundamental states of being
And who am I
To argue with reality

Casting ripples
I do not see

They spread
Interact with the ripples of others
Creating interference
Patterns of confusion

They rise to become waves
Washing over the lives of others
