Compassion at the core
The heart glows orange
Embers fuel passion’s fire
Compassion at the core
The heart glows orange
Embers fuel passion’s fire
The many-headed serpents
Protect the temple
Protect its people
Protect Buddha and Buddhism
Whether that passion be God
Or Gaia
An ideal
Or a cause
Beauty
Or love
To Tibet
In the heart of Beijing
It’s so decreed
By The Party
Places where we simply
Are
Places where we simply
Be
Fascinating
How often I find
Places of worship there
First, a tangent.

I no longer have the energy for hate. It brings me no pleasure, no relief, only tension, pain, anger.
It’s not because I’ve been put there.
Outside is a place I have chosen.
And yet, I peer inside,
Longing to be in there.
