Sometimes I just like to sit back
And marvel at Nature’s sense of fun
Her playful way with shape and form
Her vivacious turns with landscape

Like a child
Stacking clay dollops
One by one by one
Building castles
In the sand

So too does Nature
Carve and weather
Heave and crumble
Building castles
Made of stone

They run amok
These unwashed ragamuffins
My mother would say
But they are happy

Happy and curious
Enthralled with
The foreigner
And his camera

a boy
a stone
and water

some conditions are so easy to understand
some outcomes are so easy to predict
