The day ends
Vivid paroxysm of colour
Proximate calm of solitude

Peace besets me
In this dwindling hour of daylight

Content with the cool darkness to come

  That beach is a beautiful place. Should you ever find yourself in its Mendocino Coast neighbourhood, a picnic there would be ideal.

      If ever you want to make just one roadtrip in your life, I highly recommend California’s Pacific Coast Highway and the Oregon Coast Highway. It’s spectacular pretty much the whole way from south of California’s Big Sur to Cannon Beach in Oregon.
      
      But if you can only drive for a day or two, the part which travels through Mendocino county is legendary. 🙂
