Emptiness ~ Pic and a Word Challenge #153

Wheat, Drumheller, Alberta, Canada
On the prairie
Where the land is wide
And the sky is high and pretty

Gravel and dust and grain
Roads that go on forever

In the mountains
I feel diminutive
Until I climb
And conquer one
Stand on top of the world

What is there to conquer here
But a thousand miles
Of horizon

This realm of emptiness
Dotted here and there
With silos and barns
Like scattered clouds
In a sky of wheat

Last week we lit a Fire. This week, let’s reach see what we can find in the Emptiness, or discover something else to inspire you in this photograph of a wheat farm on the edge of the prairies in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada.
