Dramatic

Dramatic, Sea to Sky Gondola, Howe Sound, Squamish, British Columbia, Canada

Sometimes the drama seduces me
Saturated intensity
Overwrought meaning
There’s a beauty in the extreme
Which satisfies my lust
For something bigger than myself
But leaves me spent
Exhausted
Weakened

  This is an HDR image (for those unfamiliar with the term, High Dynamic Range. In this case, three images shot at three different exposures then merged to maximize the dynamic range — getting higher detail in shadows and highlights.) HDR has a great capacity for emboldening the elements of a landscape. This one really intensified the clouds.
