On the exposed bar of sand
Close my eyes
And listen
For the wind
And the waves
And the shutter click
Counting out the seconds

I live
In my ponderous world
In which every second
Lasts for 30
Watching the clouds
Roll gently by
Wishing time
Would just get on
So I could see
Clouds race the sky
