Capturing the Finite in Infinity

Sink Lake, Yoho National Park, Trans Canada Highway, British Columbia, Canada
A shallow lake
A rippled mirror
The forest slumbers
On its bed of rock
Beneath a cloudy blanket

And I
Might have driven by
Then this moment lost
To the forever
Of infinite unconscious
