Nary a Care

Sunset, Strait of Georgia, Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada
A rocky beach
A cloud strewn sky
A becalmed sea
And the last
Glimmering
Rays
Of a sun
Leaving the day

And I
Reflecting
Alone
In my thoughts
With nary
A care
But for the beauty
Of it all
