Amit was my host and guide for a few days in Varanasi, India. A gentle, noble man of deep insight and compassion. Here, we are afloat on the Ganges River, with Varanasi’s Dashashwamedh Ghat in the background, already lit up in anticipation of the evening Aarti ceremony.
