  <grin> Yeah. Not much for selfies myself. I do take one now and again. And people have shot a photo or two of me. You can find a couple or three on this blog’s FB page.
  
  As for posting them on Pix to Words, I’m not sure what I’d write to accompany it…
  
  This poem isn’t about casual selfie taking. It’s more about the extreme edge of narcissism … I don’t know, putting myself in every photograph would seem like photobombing my own travels. “And here I am in Agra at the Taj Mahal!” You know I was there. I took the photo.

        Hmmmm…. OK is a good way to put it. =)
        
        I’m not sure it’s possible to travel to a country like India, with all its extremes, and come back unaffected, particularly on a first trip there. So there’s that.
        
        I also expected to be back at work beginning of last week, but that’s been delayed … maybe next week?
        
        And, I think travelling to India was a an attempted shakeup in my life indicating a need for a much bigger one.
        
        So I find myself in something of an awkward limbo and a nascent state of transition which I’ve been trying to ignore. These kinds of transitive state don’t stay down too well. They rumble around in your subconscious, bumping into the apple carts.
        
        It’s OK, because that’s always been kinda my process. All that stuff percolates down deep, eventually rising to the surface where I can deal with it. I don’t often see it until it leaps out on its own, or some wise and sensitive soul points it out. 😉
        
        Since the words (and photographic choices) tend to come from a very deep place, all that deep rumbling (and apple cart upsetting) tends to find its way into posts.
        
        Would that describe the difference you’re seeing?
