End of Day

End of the Day, Near Mono Lake, California, United States of America
The sun’s come ’round
To end the day
Light conceding
Night repealing

In the darkness
That’s to come
A world revealed
Which can’t be viewed

It’s heard
And touched
It’s smells ignored
When eyes can see

But most of all
It’s just a sense
In world gone dark
I come alive
