Ending the Bad Days

Sometimes
The end of a bad day
Begins with a smile

Wry or pained, OK
Irony works
It can lead to a chuckle

In a chuckle
There is often a laugh
And in a laugh, sometimes a guffaw

How bad
Can a bad day be
When it ends with a laugh

Sometimes the world seems
Much more beautiful
With eyes closed

Head tilted back
Mouth open wide
I release the day’s worries
