Greys and Greens

This misty shore
Calls to me
Greys and greens
The susurro
Of waves on sand
The whispered wind
In long stemmed grass
Relieve me from
Hard lines and steel
Harsh words and sound
My urban stress

So I rest here
In easy grace
The breeze blows hair
Upon my face
I close my eyes
And let it play
The inner stress
Just melts away

I’ve found the rhyme
In life again
