Looking Back ~ A Year of Pic and a Word

I like to glance back
At the path I’ve travelled
To learn from trials and failures
From adventures and successes
And celebrate them all

Then I turn forward
Take the next step
With a clearer vision
Of the trials and adventures
The path ahead promises

Than finding a little-used road

Such a road promises
Adventure, beauty, discovery
And the longer I follow it
The further inside myself I see

Pic and a Word Challenge #1

I posted Discovery 51 weeks ago, and so began the journey of Pic and a Word Challenge. In hindsight, it was a most insightful and appropriate beginning.

Now seems a good time to reflect, take a look back at where this challenge has taken not just myself, but also those who’ve risen to it and offered their beauties, their insights, those who’ve revealed a bit of their own journey. So, some of my favourites from 52 weeks of Pic and a Word Challenge. I’ve loved so many of your postings, I’ll split them between two posts. The responses to the first 26 weeks here. And the next 26 will be posted next Monday, or so.

To all those who’ve posted responses this past year, you have my deepest gratitude. For responding to these challenges, of course. But also for the beauty, insight and wisdom you’ve shared every week. Thank you all so much.
