Organic

I like to think
Of the propagation of ideas
As organic

Like the spreading of lichen
Across the surface
Of bare granite

Some colonies
Stronger than others
Some weaker

They interact
Intermingle
Mutate and conjoin

No one colony
Dominates all the rock

No one Lichen
Is the best

No one idea
Is the best and only idea

And that is the beauty
Of ideas
