When the Waves Come

Boy Playing in the Waves, South Chesterman Beach, Tofino, British Columbia, Canada
When the waves come, I can

Ride them
Duck them
Vault them

Or I can stand firm
And let the ocean wash over me
Feel its power
Enjoy the surge of energy
As it flows all around me

Or…

Or I can just leave the water
But what fun or challenge
Is there in that?
