Not because I think I am important
Or I have something important to say

It’s just the way the words come
And I’m just fine with that

I don’t want to claim
I speak for anyone else
With some universal insight

I’m not that important
Though… the words are, I think

Still, they’re not always mine
The words, they are often a gift
From some wise source
Much greater than I

If there is a talent in those posts
It is that I hear the words
Then assemble the meanings
With their intended grace

The harder task
The so much harder task
Is to live by them

That is the one universal truth
