Let time
And mastery
Wash away
All that is
Not me

Let diligence
And patience
Bring on
The insightful
Flood

Let my spirit
Rise
From the flat
Featureless plain
That was me

The me before
I learned
My desires
Are nothing but
Illusion

Let me detach
From the self
I believe in
So I may become
The self I am
