Glimpses

I only have a glimpse
Of the way ahead
Through difficult terrain
Many sections of the path
Remain obscured
And the final destination
Still lies beyond
The visible horizon

But even a glimpse
Is a point of reckoning
I keep faith there is a path
And all I need
Is another opening
To show me the way there
I expect that
Reaching the horizon
Will afford another view
Of what lies ahead
