The Lattice

Abstract photograph: Lattice of Light
I breathe
Deeply
Evenly
Imagining

A lattice
Of light
Into which
My darkness

Falls

All my
Errors
All my
Regrets
All my
Sorrows
All my
Longings

Captured
In a
Lattice
Of light

Enfolded
Enwrapped
Enveloped
Encompassed

Cloaked
In a ball
Of light
In my hand

Held
In this
Moment
Then let go

The ball
Of light
Holding
Darkness

Floats
Away
Into
The light

Until
All I am
Is this
Moment

April is National Poetry Month and I am participating in the National Poetry Writing Month challenge (NaPoWriMo) — 30 poems in 30 days. Though, I’ll no doubt write more than 30. 😉

All the poetry I write this month can be found here.
