Often, I tunnel in
Narrow my focus
Until my vision
Hones on a singularity

All outside
Just fades away

Often, I find the beauty
The perfection
The light
I was seeking

All outside
Is seen anew

Sometimes, there’s only blankness
Nothing to see
No light upon
What I was seeking

All outside
Welcomes me back
