Moonrise Over San Francisco

There are stars
Beyond blue sky
Uncountable stars

And planets circling
Most of them, and
Some with moons like ours

And on some are cities
With a moon rising
O’er the skyline

While below the moon
Stands another being
Contemplating the possibility

Of me

Large as it is
The universe seems
So suddenly, smaller

And I am connected
To it
All
