Conflict

Kek Lok Si, Penang, Malaysia
When I realized
No conflict
Could be resolved
Either by winning
Or capitulation
I began to understand
The true nature of conflict

The interplay
Of force
And resistance

The will of resistance
Is not stoppered
By defeat

The will of force
Is not sated
By victory

Peace
Is possible
Only when force
Is abandoned

And
It must be
Acknowledged
Resistance also
Is force
