Sun in the Night

Inspired by the December 29th Daily Prompt, which is Earworm: Write whatever you normally write about, and weave in a book quote, film quote, or song lyric that’s been sticking with you this week. Written on the 29th, but posted today, the 30th.

I have chosen a lyric from the song, Sun in the Night, by Brand-X, from their album Moroccan Roll. The lyric itself is sung in Hindi:

Sung by Phil Collins, the melody of this lyric sticks with me for days after hearing the song again, and often rises to my mind’s ear spontaneously. I find myself singing it in my mind all the time. However, I dont write (or speak, for that matter) hindi, so chose to work with the english translation.
