The air, like Earth

Mereenie Loop, Northern Territory, Australia
In a roly poly land
I stand atop a hill
Above the grasses and gum trees
Feeling the air ripple across me
It fills the space of this wide open land
As if it were part of the Earth

And then
I remind myself
It is

As am I
