Illuminated Darkness

Thoughts rattled around
In my own mind
Seeking a truth
My eyes could not see

Clouded lenses
Light obscured
I close them

In the quiet darkness
Go deep within

Find the pure light

The light without image
To perceive or misperceive

The light which illuminates
Not truth
But truly

In this illuminated darkness
I open my eyes
Seeing clearly
The beauty in all things
