Beautiful & Alien

Sometimes I can’t recognize
The Earth I’m walking on
Beautiful and alien

Forms and lines
With seeming guile
Lead my eye
On paths unknown

And when it rests
Tries to make sense
Like the shapes I create
From shadows in the darkness
