Crumbling Wall

Every wall falls

Eventually
Every wall falls
Or is breached
Or otherwise defeated

Time crumbles their mortar
Context shifts their efficacy
Or a new technology
Renders them impotent

All boundaries
Are as ephemeral
As the stuff
From which they are made

The most ephemeral stuff
Is an idea
And the most bothersome kind
Of brick in a wall
