Illusions

Light in the trees at night, Deep Cove, British Columbia, Canada
Sometimes the path to the light
Seems uninviting

I remind myself

While some have said
The light at tunnel’s end

Is an illusion

Others reassure me
The light is not the illusion

But rather the tunnel
